Pet Hotel 1 - Calling All Pets product reviews

A fun, funny new chapter book series full of adorable pets and silly adventures!

Twins Meg and Charlie are moving into their great-great-aunt's hotel, and they're in for some surprises! The rundown hotel is full of cool old rooms, a rooftop garden, and even an elevator. There's also one big problem - it doesn't have any guests.

But when Meg and Charlie volunteer to look after a neighbor's golden retriever puppy, the fuzzy little fur-ball gives them a great idea. They're going to transform their new home into an amazing hotel... for pets!

My 7yr old daughter loves animals, and she loves dogs the most. She has only started reading chapter books in the past year, and so always gets really excited when a chapter book arrives from KIWIreviews. When this arrived she was automatically excited about this book, with its gorgeous front cover immediately appealing to her.

This book was not a 'hard' read, but definitely a worthwhile read. In fact, miss 7 is not the only one who enjoyed this one. We enjoyed it so much, we read it in its entirety, in one bedtime story sitting. We just could not put it down Smile Icon This story really is suitable for many ages, whether being read to, or reading it alone.

Meg and Charlie are twins, and they move into the hotel their Aunt Saffron owns. But the hotel is very run-down, with no guests, and it looks as though it might have to be shut down. But when an accident occurs in the market-place, the twins end up baby sitting a puppy, and before long, a plan is born. This story is a fun read with lots of little adventures that will really appeal to children.

I often donate or pass on books, when we are finished with them, unless they will be read again and again. This book will be staying with us, as it is to cute and sweet, to be passing on, and miss 7 has already read it twice more (alone) since we read it together, and as there are more in the series, we will definitely be interested in them.
