Not one of Rob Schneiders good movies.
He plays a police officer who ends up in a major car crash, he gets rescued by a mad scientist who saves his life by replacing his damaged organs with animal organs. This brings a whole new lease on life as he manages to become a better cop by becoming faster, stronger and jump higher, but this also causes issues when he falls for a woman and his animal instincts try to take over. This could provide plenty of laughs but sadly they all fall too flat.
The jokes are just a bit too crude and it relies too much upon making fun of animals and the way that they act and then giving it all sorts of sexual innuendo, which just doesn't do it for me. The acting is all sub-par, but since there weren't any big names, and I don't expect big things from Schneider so I didn't end up being disappointed with anything since I didn't go in expecting anything great. I own this on DVD but only because it came part of a box set, otherwise I would never have bought it.
This just isn't that good a movie and not one I aim to watch intentionally any time soon.
