Yesterday while out i picked up a couple of games that were on sale for cheap at Farmers ($10) since I have decided every Sat night after baths and everything else is done we will sit down and play a game together.
Tonight was Starship Bingo.
Because it was a new game we had to pull all the little green men off their card, the stars off the card and put the little spaceship together. The kids helped with this it was easy to pull it all off and they put the spaceship together without me even knowing
.
What a great little fun game, yup the numbers are huge (going from 1-90) but the kids were started to learn them, we would pull out a number and I would call it out saying "70" then breaking it down "its a 7 and 0" they would have a look to see if they have the number that matches the counter.
The only thing I dont really like is that all the pieces etc are small and if I put them in the box will go everywhere so using a glad bag for the little green men and stars. The spaceship doesn't fit in the box in one piece, so you need to pull it apart into 3 pieces to fit in the box - a deep tin or wooden box would be better for the storing idea of this game. But never the less, it was a fun game that we enjoyed together and the kids learnt a few more numbers and what they look like.
Next time we will play on the table cause it hurts your neck looking that far to the ground ![]()
