Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars product reviews

In 2047, Tiberium has blanketed the Earth, which is now divided into zones based on the level of Tiberium infestation. The infamous Kane has returned to lead the Brotherhood of Nod in a massive global assault on the Global Defence Initiative and the few remaining Blue zones left on the planet. Only you can stop him. The fate of humanity - and the planet - is in your hands...

Featuring state-of-the-art, next-generation graphics, an epic story with live action video sequences featuring top Hollywood actors, and the classic fast-paced C&C style of play, C&C 3 sets the standard for the single player RTS experience. When you decide to test your skills online, a suite of truly innovative features, such as the ability to transform online battles into a spectator sport, unfold.

Welcome back, Commander.

It is 2047 and the stakes could not be higher. Tiberium,a self-replicating alien substance has infected the Earth and is spreading like wildfire. The GDI, a high-tech alliance of the world's most advanced nations, is fighting to contain it, but Kane, the leader of The Brotherhood of NOD has other plans for Earth. His secret society turned superpower is bent on using the Tiberium to take control and transform humanity into his twisted vision of the future. All-out war rages over Tiberium and the fate of the planet rests in the balance.

This is an excellent real-time strategy game that features an intense story and a well-rounded set of multiplayer options. It's a great way for console enthusiasts to experience the fast and frantic action of a Command & Conquer game. Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars proves that strategy has a big role to play on consoles. If you have an Xbox 360 and even the remotest interest in earth-shattering explosions or campy science fiction, you owe it to yourself to pick up a copy.

When playing the campaign, you're rewarded with a whole lot of live-action video in between missions, featuring familiar actors getting hammy in near-future command centers. There is also a great range of playing options to keep you going.
