Wolves of the Beyond - Lone Wolf product reviews

In the harsh wilderness beyond the owl world of Ga'Hoole, a wolf mother hides in fear. Her newborn pup, otherwise healthy, has a twisted paw. The mother knows the rigid rules of her kind. The pack cannot have weakness. Her pup must be abandoned on an icy riverbank - condemned to die.

But alone in the forest, the pup, Faolan, does the unthinkable. He survives. This is Faolan's story, the story of a courageous wolf pup who rises up to change forever the wolves of the Beyond

Scholastic brings you the all new 'Wolves of the Beyond' story from the bestselling author of the "Guardians of Ga'Hoole". I found the preview rather interesting because it was very descriptive, which made me want to read it even more. I liked the cover because it showed what the book was like: dark, mysterious and action-packed. As I read Lone Wolf it made me feel excited because just about the entire book made me wonder 'What is going to happen next?' The storyline turned out to be full of parts that I enjoyed, but the part I enjoyed the most was when the young wolf, Faolan, joined the wolf pack after being left to die on a frozen riverbank. I didn't enjoy it when Faolan found out that his second 'milk giver' was dead, in fact it made me sad too. At the beginning of the book it was quite boring, so I had a bit of trouble getting into it. However, it got better and better and in the end it turned out to be an enjoyable, easy read. The ending was so cool that I was glad it was book #1, meaning that I can read the next book and see how the story turns out. I think Lone Wolf is suitable for everyone who is interested in animal stories or fantasy, and I also think it's good for people 8 years and over. This book is a furry fantastic story. Believe me, you are sure to enjoy it.
