This was my favourite of the three. Full meaty flavour with a rich tomato sauce, plenty of penne pasta and slices of parmesan cheesed topping it off. Not a huge amount of meet and it was all in tiny meatballs but that wasnt too bad as there was some in every bite.
The ability to roll the 'dishes' up and eat them too was awesomely funny to watch others try. Having eaten a range of ethnic foods myself, including indian, mediterranian and mexican, it was a breeze, since I had the knack of rolling stuff up and eating it without dumping half of it on my lap in the process.
If ytou want something really different for dinner this is worth a try but beware, it is very more'ish and one serving just may not be enough!

I have eaten many pasta dishes over the years, and also prepared more than a few myself, and I would have to say that this was one of the tastiest I bought-pastas I have had the pleasure of tasting in many years. The pasta was well cooked, the sauce was full of flavour, and the mini meatballs were surprisingly full of taste.

The 'novelty' value of this dish is... well, just that really... the dish. Made from flakey pastry, it's a really great way to be friendly to the environment and your tummy. Once you have consumed most of the pasta, you simply grab the bowl, roll it up, and snarf it down as well. Fold up the carboard box and biff it into the recycling, and that's it, dishes taken care of.

Now, I would say that the price is a little steeper than I would happily pay for a dish this size... it's a fair portion for one person, but something this delicious just makes you want a larger serving... it's very more'ish, so a bit more filling in the bowl would have pleased me more, especially as there was room for it.

Overall, a delightful little 'treat' and great to see Domino's branching out into something a little different. Though you can buy an entire pizza and still get change from the buy-price of this single-serve portion, it's well worth considering if you want something special, and easy to clean up. Wink Icon
