I remember these shows from years back when they first went to air. They fascinated me then and they still do today.
One thing to keep in mind, though there are quite a few animals featured in these shows, they mainly focus on various bird species. This can prove a little monotonous for some but if you are an ornithopterophile (enjoy all things bird related) then you will find not only this disc, but the entire series, far more enjoyable to watch.
Full of neat little storylines, and an informative commentary weaving throughout, it is well worth watching.
Personally, when I have my younger family members visit, they sit and watch an episode or two with me as part of their home-schooling education. Something we can both enjoy to help bridge that ghastly generation gap issue. They gain new knowledge, and I enjoy answering their questions and helping guide their further research.
All in all, an excellent way to pass those annoying wet days stuck indoors, and an educational resource suitable for any age group.
