After having trialled SanDisk's 4gb Ducati-branded card at the same time, it was easy to compare the two, apples-with-apples style. On the whole, this one had to be the winner, but only because of one key factor: Price. Just as good in most respects I could discover, the main functional difference is a whopping difference in download speed.
The thought that I used to balance this out is that in most situations, download speed is not going to be a major issue. if you are a professional photographer, you won't have just one card you need to recycle, so you stick this one on to download, slap in a spare, and get right back to shooting. For 'keen Joe Bloggs' types, you probably won't fill this card up before you are sick of shooting, so you'll go home and download the pictures while you have a drink, a feed, or some time with the kids.
On the whole this is probably a better choice for anyone who isn't in it for the 'dig-jam poser' factor, mainly because it's a realistic price to pay for quality gear that won't fail on you right when you need it, and works with all the media readers I have tried this on, unlike some of the El Cheepo cards available at your local supermarkets and dodgymarts.
