My mum picked this book up for my son from Paper Plus for Easter. It was quite a nice Easter present for a little one that can't eat chocolate yet as it still has the rabbit that goes along with the Easter theme. I thought it was quite expensive for what it is, but most of the money is probably because of the hand puppet because the story is not really all that good.
In the story the little rabbit can't remember what he is supposed to eat so hops around all the different farm friends trying to figure it out. As a person that has had rabbits I thought it was quite strange that some of the foods he tried with the various animals he ended up saying weren't for him because a lot of them rabbits do eat. He turns down hay, and grass which most people know a rabbit would eat before finding out that he was supposed to eat carrots.
Other than the un realistic story line my son really loves this book because of the hand puppet so we do read it a lot, he thinks it is hillarious when I put my son inside the puppet and make the chomping noises as the bunny tries the various different foods. It is good also that it is a board book as it is nice and sturdy for him at this young age, I like to have some books that I can keep in his reach whereas the soft cover books usually get put up on the shelf for bedtime stories.
