The second book of the Lily, the littlest angel series, has Lily rescuing a small kitten that has hurt itself. She knows that the right thing to do is to look after it until it gets better but how can she when there are no animals allowed at Amelia's Angel Academy (Only Frumblepuss). The kitten will need to be her secret.
Once again Lily goes through a series of mishaps and adventures while she tries to earn her silver slippers at the same time keeping her rescued kitten a secret.
Much like the first book, this is a very sweet book, reminding me much of the Anne of Green Gables type adventures. Miss 4.75 enjoyed this one also as we read it to her a chapter a night. We were also able to use it to talk about secrets and what may have been the best thing to do.
Another lovely book especially for young girls.
