Hell just went quantum!
The Confederation is starting to collapse politically and economically, allowing the `possessed' to infiltrate more worlds. Quinn Dexter is loose on Earth, destroying the giant arcologies one at a time. As Louise Kavanagh tries to track him down, she manages to acquire some strange and powerful allies whose goal doesn't quite match her own.
The campaign to liberate Mortonridge from the possessed degenerates into a horrendous land battle of the kind which hasn't been seen by humankind for six hundred years. Then some of the protagonists escape in a very unexpected direction.
Joshua Calvert and Syrinx now fly their starships on a mission to find the Sleeping God -- which an alien race believes holds the key to overthrowing the possessed.

A truely visionary conclusion to a stunning, thought-provoking trilogy. I was a cult-level fan of Peter's prior to reading this, but now, I am immersed in his vision of one possible future of mankind.
I'm a cyber-freak at heart, I want implants, I want neural nanonics, I want the affinity gene for my kids and symbionts for me too. If this worldline eventuates, I'm going to be so naffed off I wasn't incarnate for it!
Overall, mind-blowing, simply mind-blowing. Peter has earned a rare privilige on The Book Shelves, he has a section to himself... not to be mixed in with the general population that roams the shelves.

Class 4F is a mighty challenge for any teacher, with One-Eyed Eileen's gang of freaks and their naughty antics. But Miss Corker (alias Miss Schnorkel) works out a clever way to handle them. From the creator of Old Tom and Horrible Harriet, and inspired by 25 years of teaching, comes another unforgettable cast of hilarious characters.
It's Miss Corker's first day at her new school (in fact, it's her first day at any school) and she is looking forward to meeting her class...
