I seem to have created a bit of an obsession with flexo and building things and using imaginations and see what happens. I got some flexo to review and then decided that I had to go to the online store and buy some more to try. I don't follow instructions well so this was a much better choice.
I had already watched the video on how to use the multi tool, it sounds amazing that one little bit of plastic can do so many things. I had to think about what I could create and how it was going to work, I had to ask my son to show me how to do the tendons as I learn by doing and not just been told what to do. I did find that I struggled a bit with attaching the tendons but I put that down to age and eye sight problems and nothing to do with the design of the bricks or tendons. I finally decided on a design and thought of how it would fit together, I thought it best to keep it small. I lay the pieces down and make sure I had enough of each colour and just finalise the design in my head.
Overall I was impressed with the bricks, they were so easy to use and the different shapes made my design come to life. I then thought to use domes to make it stand out, I think that was a lot more fun than the building. I will be doing some more designs and getting the other bricks as well. I really liked how I could use any colour I wanted and then be creative with the domes and the design looks like I spent hours on it when the actual construction was about half an hour.
