This is a very good camera for indoor surveillance especially for commercial areas like stores and factories. I would not recommend the camera for home use due to the size of the unit. This however, in a business sense, is not a bad thing. It does send the message that someone is watching. The unit is mounted on a swivelling stand that can be attached any way you want and then lock the camera into place.
The operation of the camera is excellent in all lighting conditions. You have to make sure however that the unit is mounted away from lights as in some cases it might produce lens flair.
The night operation on the camera is truly impressive and this will come in handy to many shop owners who have to leave some shop light on to get definition on the cameras that they are currently using. You can finally save your power bill by installing this camera. The best thing of all is that the camera actually operates to the limits that they specify on the packing.
The camera accessories are also available from Swann. You can get lenses and additional cable directly from Swann.
The only negative is that the manual that comes with the camera seems to be written for the model up as well, and some of the features that are stated in the manual are not included in this camera, but everything on the packing is.
The camera is also compatible and will work well with older surveillance systems
This camera is great value for money for the features that this camera include. Every business needs one of them.
