I like animals, the kids like animals and thus I thought that this could be quite a fun book for all of us to have a look at.
First, looking at all the pictures, there is a nice and wide range of animals in this book, you aren't short on options and you are also not restricted to just some cute cants and dogs. The photos, of course, are designed to be cute, gorgeous, adorable hilarious etc. on their own, without the need for words. This proved to be very handy for my three year old who can't read and other than knowing they are words, isn't usually interested, and it also works out ok for my other two children for those times when they just want to blob and ignore the words.
The jokes weren't anything that wonderful and certainly not ones that were new to me or my husband. Some were fun, but I think that was more due to the image that came with it than the actual joke, there was even a joke repeated, though worded differently, which I thought a bit slack. Reading it to the kids, it wasn't anything that had them entranced and they didn't understand all the jokes.
The kids love the pictures in the book, I would have been happy with just the pictures, no jokes.
We loved the funny image that was used for the cover and the appealing way it was titled. It certainly gives the impression you are in for a laugh and you will not be disappointed! The photographs of the animals are fantastic, natural and hilarious! There are all kinds of animals from kittens and ducks to gorillas and lions.
My favourite image is of a frog! They are all very adorable. The book would be great and provide laughs for people of all ages! My 15 year old step son enjoyed it and even posted an image to Facebook to share with friends. As teenagers do! Mr three liked the photos and although I read it to him he did not have a great understanding of all of the jokes. He enjoyed pointing out the animals and even learnt a few new ones! All learning opportunities are great opportunities!
I think Animal LOLZ would be perfect for a waiting room table, doctors, hospitals anywhere really, even Cafe's. It lightens your mood, puts a smile on your dial and gives you a great giggle! It will be kept on our coffee table for the kids to read at their leisure and for visitors to enjoy!

A fun picture book about a messy girl and her dog trying to keep clean for her big performance!
Molly is very messy, so she tries to practice keeping clean during the week to prepare for her big singing performance at her school on Saturday. But she puts on her dress and gets messy while eating spaghetti, being out in the rain, falling in the mud, baking a cake, eating ice cream, and playing in the grass. On Saturday, she works as ... more...
