The forth segment of the Heartside Bay saga. I have been dying to read the book about Eve.... the most envied/hated (depending who you ask) girl in school. The girl who everyone wants to be. Unfortunately we were not issued this book and as was in hospital could not pop down to the library and so instead brought on the Kindle.

To be honest it is not all that I had hoped. I thought we would of found out more about Eve and what really makes her tick. It was more about her need for approval from her father especially, her insecurities and then her sexual orientation which became a tad boring. You do thankfully find out what went on between her and Ms Andrews which I was not expecting at all.

Teens will love this series as it explores everyone's need to 'fit in'. Love, friendships, dramas, boys, misunderstanding and in this occasion death. It is fast paced and a very simple book. The characters all have there flaws and it explores everyone's insecurities. It is a series where you will need to read from book one right thru and each book is based around one of the characters and told entirely from there perspective.

The death scene was really well handled, I felt, and shows just how hard people want to belong to a group even if going out of there comfort zone to do it. I was rather shocked at how it played out but it is totally realistic especially when you get boys and puberty involved. Loving the series and can not wait to find out what happens to the Heartside Bay crew.
