My little Miss 8 purchased this pack on special at The Warehouse for $10.50 and has had countless hours of fun with it! She has the "Rock Pop" kit.
The fabric flower petals come in awesome modern, funky and cool designs! There are plain colours, skulls, hearts and her favourite, the Zebra prints! The charms have a wee chain that you could connect to bags or keys if you so desire. My daughter had clipped one onto her shoe earlier.
The box states that 5-6 year olds may need some help and that 7-10 year olds can do it alone. I think a 5 year old could handle it no problem. As a mum I love that this isn't messy and is something that can be used over and over! You can unclip them and start again as many times as you like which to me makes it worth its weight in gold, to many things these days are "one time wonders"
I would be interested in purchasing some of the bigger sets and seeing what she can come up with and also looking into weather you can buy the bases and buttons separately. I think these are a fantastic idea and will make a great and reasonably priced gift for any girls birthday. I will be buying more!
