Alive in Concert is the Lads only live CD to date. Songs from previous studio albums are captured with a new energy. This is the first album they recorded with new guitarist Bjorn and he makes the most of the opportunity to solo, giving the Lads a virtuosic edge that wasn't there before, another string to their bow. If you're already a Lads fan, this album is an improvement on the songs you know and love. If you're new to the Lads, this is the CD to get as it contains all of their best known songs, in a humorous interactive setting.
This is probably the best Lads album to date (Pending the release of The Lads: ALIVE planned for release in early Feb '05). Recorded whilst 'Live in Concert' (ironically) it portrays the lads how they are on stage, interacting with the crowd, arguing with each other and just being funny.
The warning inside the back cover of the CD is probably the most true statement ever: WARNING: MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF NUTS.
