OK, this is certainly a strangely funny movie. But what can you expect when the main plot is 3 cows trying to save the farm. This gets complicated when the 'bad guy' is a cattle-stealing redhead who yodels them away.
Frankly, this struck me as a strange cartoon hybrid between 'Babe the Pig' and 'The Pied Piper of Hamlet' with a hefty does of 'Rush Hour' thrown in for action. (For that last bit, you can blame the horse.)
There were some scenes that I know my nearly-5yr old son would not be happy with (particularly the mining-cart getaway) and really, the movie itself was just, well, limp.
Overall, it's an OK movie if you want something akin to chewing gum for the kids eyes, but if you want something really engaging... you need to keep looking.
