Tackle a mid-morning sugar craving head-on with Nuttz Gourmet Selection Chai Almond - dry roasted almonds with a deliciously rich blend of spices, including nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom and coriander giving it a crunchy rich coloured coating. Our most popular almond.
Most of the almonds used by Nutttz Gourmet are grown in Australia. We typically use Non Pareil Extra Supreme variety, size 24-27, as they are the best available, look and taste great with our gourmet coatings. Spices are added at the coating stage to give added natural flavours to the almonds for your enjoyment or a special treat.

I recently had the opportunity to attend the Craft Show where I discovered these. I am quite a fan of chai so was interested to see what they tasted like so I sampled some. I was surprised to find the taste was amazing and very much like the chai I love, mix it in with almonds, which I'm also fond of, and you've got a winner.
I wandered around the rest of the show but had to return to get some and I didn't share! The nuts are still crunchy which is good as I often find flavoured nuts become a little soft.
Once I returned home I jumped on their website to find if I could get them locally and was pleasantly surprised to see that I could, it's always annoying to find an amazing product at a show only to discover that you have to order online.
If you love chai I would recommend these as a snack as the flavour really does remain true to the spices in chai. My only recommendation is that you don't eat bits that aren't attached to the almonds! As well as being almost as hard as rocks the intense spice flavour isn't balanced by the creaminess of the almonds so doesn't make for a pleasant eating experience.
The other flavours in the range are good as well, they have savoury as well as sweet, but these are my favourite.
