I kept thinking it would be a great way to keep my family and friends up to date on what is happening in our lives and what the kids have done recently but I find I often forget to update it or log in as I automatically email when I have something to say. I do like being able to do it as an online diary and I can say what I want without having to worry about what others are thinking.
The best thing so far is that it is free, I do wonder how to do some of the things I have seen on other blogs but then I couldn't care about trying to find out as I'm busy enough without adding extra to it. Since I know that there is no such thing as totally private online I'm still careful about any photos I put up as I don't like not being able to control who does what with photos of my children.
Would love to be able to use more of the features, maybe one day.
Ive been a member of blogging at blogger since 2009 and love it. I can share my thoughts, stories, photos and anything I feel I want to share with family and friends. I love how you can change it to public to private. You can make it your own changing backgrounds, titles banners, and moving things around to make your own design.
Having pages to keep things going like I have a page of my kids growth every 6mths watching them grow, I have a page for each of my kids with the funny things they say etc. I love how you can have many blogs on the same email address without having to make an email address.
Yout do however need a gmail email address to set up a blogger. The thing I don't like with the private way is you have to add people as readers so I added my family but they got confused about adding me so they could read so it ended up going back to public. a lot of friends wanted to read aswell and it was a hassle to get them all to send email addresses so I could add them as a reader. I do however love sharing things with friends and family though and can access it on any computer I like.
I love how I worked out to make my title myself and add it instead of using the template already on there. I do say this is a great way of keeping family up to date of things going on, especially if you have family and friends far away.
