Meet Grandma - shes gentle, kind, lots of fun and cooks the yummiest food. Grandma also gives the best - ever cuddles - in short, shes great!
Children will love watching Grandma and her parrot as they play hide-and-seek, listen to the drums and clear up lots of mess! This book will be a lasting favourite with children and adults alike - and especially with Grandmas

I actually found this book at a second hand book sale and was drawn tot eh bright colourful image of the little boy and his Grandma. Granny is pretty special to my little one so I thought it would be cool to have a book about Grandma. My boy really loves and Granny loves it too she thinks it must of been written especially about her.
It is funny and I don't know how many kids would be able to relate but in the book the little boy lives next door to his Grandma which is the same situation as we are in so it is really relate able to my son. There are a few bits Granny would change like she always says I wouldn't let you stay up extra late like the Grandma in the story but she thinks the bit about telling stories about Dad being naughty when he was a little boy is spot on!
All in all a great book and I am glad we found this little treasure such a special book for my son to read with his Granny and have a bit of a giggle. I would recommend the book to anyone whose children have a special connection with their Grandma, I am a big softy when it comes to family so I think it is super special.
