I was looking for something a bit different to take to work with me this week. I drink a lot of coffee and occasionally get a drink from the vending machine. So instead of a vending machine visit this week, I picked up some of these Bellich fruit juice drinks with real fruit pieces. I wasn't sure what to make of them, but the flavours sounded nice.
The first one I tried was the Pineapple one. The can is a slim style 240ml. On the can the writing is mostly not in English. Though there was a label for the ingredients and things. The can tells you to shake it to mix in the fruit pieces properly. It always feels a little wrong shaking a can. All that pressurised liquid in there.
As I was shaking the can, I noticed a few people looking at me. Probably wondering who I was going to punk. In any case, I pulled the ring pull on the can very slowly. The can spitted angrily as it opened and a whole heap of froth came out. Luckily it didn't go everywhere, and it was a quick clean up. The taste of the juice drink was really nice. It tasted like pineapple juice.
The fruit pieces were nice too, though it was a bit hard to drink with them. They were small pieces but they still closed the opening of the can more than a fruit pulp would have. At the end I had to shake the last of the fruit pieces free from the can too. It wasn't a big inconvenience though and I liked this flavour. I can't wait to try the others in this range.
