Having been wowed by the other yoghurts in this range, I thought nothing of picking up the Puhoi Valley Lemon Delicious flavour. I wasn't sure what to expect and have sometimes been surprised by overly sour citrus flavours in yoghurt. But with Puhoi Valley I just had a trust that this was going to be a positive experience.
Lemon Delicious is exactly as promised, delicious! Its that classic cheese-cakey creamy yoghurt, topped with a lemon curd style sauce. The sauce is a little watery, but it looks and tastes like curd which is my favourite. The curd style is sweet without being overpowering like the other sauces I have tried on Puhoi Valley yoghurts. I could happily eat this sauce straight and have no need for the yoghurt at all. But the yoghurt! it just adds another dimension.
Suddenly I'm indulging in lemon cheesecake on my breakfast. That's something special. It feels like luxury and as a consumer, that's what I want. To be wined and dined and feel special even when I'm sitting in my dressing gown and have kids screaming around me. Another fabulous yoghurt and definitely my favourite of the range so far.

Succulent and meltingly tender, pulled brisket is the stuff of Texas barbecue legends. We make ours with NZ beef brisket, infused with flavour by tumbling in our Texan-style blend of spices and cooked so the meat's full of spicy flavour. Simply heat, then shred the hot, sauce-covered meat into succulent chunks and serve.
