I have a lot of woollen and merino items for my children and a few for myself as I love their warmth in the winter as a base layer underneath clothing but I like them to stay looking nice and in good condition so the way they are washed is really important.
This wool mix is really good, it is delicate on the wool so when they are washed the wool is nice and soft and doesn't become fluffy or threadbare. I have to hand wash in this wool mix as it is not recommended for front loading machines so is a bit of a pain if I have a big load of woollens to get through. You just need half a capful of the wool mix to a basin of water so it lasts a long time too.
I like how it had the instruction on the back of the bottle to roll up in a towel to dry off the excess water before hanging out as this is so much better than wringing them out which makes the garments lose their shape and I hadnt thought of this idea usually just hanging it out while it was still dripping.
The lavender smell is really nice and makes the clothing smell really fresh and they hold the scent once they are dry too so when you put the garments on they still have that fresh lavender scent which I really love.
