Since buying the book My Dad I have been searching for a book about Mum that compares. I bought this book and although it is a great tribute to mothers it does not compare to My Dad in terms of celebrating what makes a mum.
This story was about a little bear who kept trying to do things but always fell and his mum had to show him how to do them. It was a real sweet storyline with the little bear climbing a tree before his mum taught him how, or trying to swim, with his mum warning him and then having to show him how it was done. It ends with the little bear telling Mum how much he loved her.
I thought it was a good way to teach children how much they can learn from their mothers and could open discussion as to why they love their mums. I however am still on the hunt for a great book about Mum's that will pay tribute to all the things that make mums great.
