I really like falafel, so long as it is made right, mainly that it isn't too greasy etc. Growing up eating vegetarian food half the time, falafel was always a nice treat when we would go out for meals.
This may not look like a lot, it is after all, only 500 grams. But, this gives a really good amount. You take about a teaspoon worth and roll into a ball. You can then go one of two ways. You can leave it in a ball and bake it in the oven till golden brown on the outside, or you can fry it in a little bit of oil in a pan, again, until golden brown.
I love to cook up some rice, drizzle it with soy sauce, put my falafel on top and then drizzle with garlic mayo and bbq sauce. With using a little less than half of the container, I was able to make 12 pieces of falafel, enough for three adults. And there is plenty left for at least one full meal and a snack or two. So really, really great value for money.
As for taste, it's fabulous and this is my favourite brand.
