I discovered these around Christmas time and brought my partner one, only to claim it back not that long after Christmas! These cups caught my eye as they are really funky! They come in a range of lid colours such as orange, red, purple and black. Bodum is a European brand known for its good quality products. I like to buy NZ made, but this is one of the exceptions as its an awesome product!
I love the seal on the lid - it twists and becomes totally sealed....it does state not to tip it upside down due to the pressure that can build up, but im naughty and often leave a dribble at the bottom of my cup that i don't want to drink, so this is the perfect solution. At uni i'm happy to stash this cup in my handbag with no fear that it will leak.
It has a cool double wall feature so it is more insulated than other cups, and does keep the coffee hot for a long time. The lid sometimes stores dishwater in it from the dishwasher - thats a bit gross and it sometimes needs a rinse under the tap if thats happened - but i guess its the design of the lid so it does seal (can't have everything perfect!!)
This cup is on the expensive side - there is a larger version but it is double the price so i went for the standard 250ml cup. I would totally purchase another if we needed it, and since buying it i have brought more and given them as gifts.
