It also contains tasks to complete ie. Formal Writing; Short written text; visual text. It contains information on how to plan essays, and even includes a section on how to plan your study time effectively.
The 8 week training programme shows you how to: Optimise Your Learning Environment, Prepare realistic goals and a plan to achieve them, Learn how to learn, and practice on exam-type questions. It has beeen described as a 'Fairly Standard collection of notes and activities' - Ben Arcus.
Overall this is a very useful study guide and I recommend it to all who want to pass NCEA Level One English.
