My son loves these shows and we always watch them on television but now having a selection of winter based episodes is perfect, each episode is just long enough to get over a tantrum, or to entertain while mummy cooks dinner.
The fact that these are winter themed is awesome as he has never seen snow so I have been showing him and now 'snow snow' is what he says when he wants to watch this DVD! Im wondering if when it actually snows he will be outside looking for his favourite tv characters.
What i really enjoy about this DVD is that it has a selection of different episodes as no parents really wants to sit thru 8-10 episodes of the same show, it gets VERY repetitive and the kids stop paying attention and become bored, but with each new episode it is like a surprise and the children become engaged again, so it captivates their attention very well.
I would recommend this DVD, i actually prefer it over the series for each individual show as this has a little bit of everything, no arguments with the children i care for, if we are going to watch Barney or Pingu. We can watch both now (:
