While this is just like a regular jigsaw puzzle and it has all the normal traits of a regular jigsaw puzzle it also has a couple of other great things going for it.
Firstly it is a great educational tool, not only is it a world map, but it also teaches you as you put the puzzle together. As you progress and each time you do the puzzle it will help you learn where each country is located, as well as the general location of some of the cities in the larger countries. As well as that it also has running across the bottom of the puzzle all the flags of the world, and located along the top of the map are little clocks showing the time difference for each timezone as an added bonus.
The other thing going for it is the fact that it is pacific centric (or to put it plainly the Pacific Ocean is located in the middle of the map), so that means that good old Godzone is pretty much near the middle of the map (as we should be).
I feel this is a puzzle that every household should have, especially if you have intermediate to high school aged children as this would be a great assistance to their geography skills.
