A great book for the littlie who loves vehicles, especially big ones.
The bright, realistic pictures are a great attention grabber. The wording in the book is more aimed at 4 years and older but younger children can still have fantastic fun looking at the pictures and talking about what they see.
The fact that this is a board book can handle the rough treatment of youngsters, who enjoy turning the page to see what vehicles come next.
Even though this book is not made in New Zealand, a lot of the vehicles are the same or similar to what they do see here.
This is another great book for a child with love for trucks...
The pictures are bright and colourful, as are the pages.
The writing gives interesting information about the vehicles.
Being a board book, this is a hardy book that handles being carried around by the children in my centre with ease...
I do feel that this book is aimed at the older range of board book readers. Two year olds will like the pictures, but the words may be a little to complex, whereas if this was given to a three year old, it would be more age appropriate.
A good way to bridge between a 'baby' book and something a little more grown-up.

Lamb is desperate for a room... but perhaps a little too trusting of a potential and menacing roommate? Innocently, Lamb does his best to convince Wolf that he will be the perfect partner to share a home - but Wolf knows herself too well and things don't quite work out as Lamb would have hoped.
This book is suitable for children aged 3-7, but older readers will also enjoy its unique graphics and wry humour.
