This proved to be a LOT of fun, both for my 6 year old, and me too. -blush- We spent hours, first recreating the designs included in the book, then developing our own. We did a 'solar storm' and 'a bunch of flowers', we recreated a number of dinosaurs, an airplane and an army tank, a battleship and a submarine... and a good 2 dozen more both real and surreal.
The magnetic tiles are tiny, and can prove awkward to break apart, but once separated they are easy to place and move around on the board. The only thing to consider is that they pack away nice and tidy when still in the sheets, but once they are converted to their single units, they dont fit as tidy. A couple of small multi-compartment pillboxes, found at your nearby Warehouse, Plastics Plus or $2-shop makes for a great storage option, allowing you to keep the colours collected together and easy to pick for later use.
Overall, a great way to pass a rainy day with kids, or a quiet day for the creative mind.
