Review #22933 - Dated: 14th of January, 2024 Author: mizim |
Christmas 2022 I bought myself this puzzle and only got around to opening it over the 2023 Christmas holidays... I had already done a couple of puzzles in this brand before and really enjoyed it. This puzzle goes over seven colours - pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple - each of which have their own 1000 piece puzzle and of which I had done the blue and green ones. I decided to give this one a go as I really like the quality of these puzzles and I hadn't done a 2000 piece puzzle before. My mum and I decided to sort out the colours before starting, which made the puzzle a little easier to do but still left a few tricky parts as some pieces couldn't be defined as a set colour.
My mum and I enjoyed putting this one together, the images and such were so well put together and we liked all the little details (it was a nice little boost to spot a few New Zealand stamps in the mix). The pieces are nice and thick, which we really enjoyed as we were able to put together pieces outside of the puzzle and the pick it up and place it in position without loosing any of it or needing to try and slip paper underneath it. These puzzles are also 'random cut' meaning you get some funky shaped pieces, which added to the fun and to the difficulty a little. Really enjoyed this and will be looking into some of their other puzzles.
