A love story in reverse. From dating dilemmas to career conundrums, the recently engaged Ted (Josh Radnor) and his feisty friends find themselves at the crossroads of young adult life. While newlyweds Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily (Alyson Hannigan) contemplate parenthood, single gal Robin explores the advantages of having "friends with benefits." Meanwhile, the irrepressible, opinionated Barney (Neil Patrick-Harris) continues his hilariously dogged pursuit of the fairer sex. As for Ted, his Miss Right is out there, but amid bar brawls, blizzards, and buck-naked strangers, how will he ever find her?

I'm finally starting to enjoy How I Met Your Mother and I'm enjoying the relationships between everyone and how they are plodding along not only with their relationships in and outside of the fab five, but in their careers and families. I loved the second episode, "The Best Burger in New York" and the hunt for a favorite dish/treat, but never quite being able to find it, something I'm sure many people can relate to. There are quite a few ups and downs throughout the season, so we don't just have joke after joke, these are feeling more and more like real people.

I have to say that so far, Barney is my favorite character and has been since season two, and it also goes to show just how good an actor he is when he plays a complete womanizer in the show but in real life he is the complete opposite. Lily and Marshall are a cute couple as always and they feel like a real couple, which speaks well of the on screen chemistry between the actors. I like how new characters come in and out with ease, sometimes taking the focus for half or more of an episode but the main five are still the key characters here.

Looking forward to the next season.
