We spent this past January here for 5 days and it was awesome. The staff are great. We did have an incident where someone went in the fridge and ate our food but staff dealt with it promptly and the person was asked to leave. The facilities are great always clean tidy and never with out anything. The beach is amazing and the 1/2 hour walk to the surf beach is an awesome way to spend the day with a coffee cart there for those missing city life. There is security patrol at night ensuring noise is controlled which makes it awesome for children, we even had a 6month old with us and he was fine the whole time. It is more expensive than DoC grounds but worth it and is a very comfortable way of camping ^:-) They have toilets, pay per use showers, kitchen and a camp fridge. The wharf/jetty is close and provides awesome attraction for children. Sand castles, sun, food, beach, swimming, sights, new friends and staff that take pride in their site and maintain it to the highest standard what more could you ask for ^:-) |
