Review #9374 - Dated: 27th of August, 2013 Author: samantha203 |
We were gifted one of these for my son, my 10 year old nephew decided he had outgrown his and passed it on to our little boy. It was 5 years old and had been well played with but is still in fantastic condition considering how much use it has had. It is incredibly durable as none of the edges have become frayed at all, the binding on the edges is really thick and tightly woven so the edges stay down nice and flat.
It is so easy to clean too, you can take it outside and shake it off and then vacum it and it is good as new, I go over it with the steam mop from time to time but that is basically all it ever needs. My son plays with it all the time as he has just got really into playing with trucks and cars so it provides hours of play time and it keeps it nice and confined to one place most of the time.
Cai has just figured out how to use pull back cars so he places the cars on one side of the mat pulls them back, lets them go, and watches laughing as they zoom across the mat. With his other cars he drives them around the roads making his best car noises!
I like how it creates and interactive play time for Cai and his Dad as they can get down on the floor together and drive the cars round the roads, Dad gets real carried away and they have aeroplanes at the airport, and trains on the tracks, and sometimes he will get out towels and stuff to but under the mat to create hills which they can roll the cars down.
