The first thing that I will point out, because due to my lack of sleep addled brain I didn't think about this till it was too late, give whatever you are going to draw on a quick wipe clean first, just to get rid of any gunk on it. I didn't clean it first and as a result the purple pan took a bit of work to get it working again.

These take a little bit of work to get the ink to soak into the tip enough that you can use it well, and I found that just doing a little bit of scribbling on the window helped to speed it along a little bit, but don't expect it to work right away, saves you some frustration.

Once working the colours show really nicely and the pens are really easy to use. I drew on one window, writing my children's names, and I drew some pictures on the living room window (had to make sure they were working before unleashing the children). These work well, it's something fun and easy to do (especially on a rainy day) and best of all is it just wipes away with a damp cloth.
