Belkin RF Coaxial Video Cables use advanced engineering methods and the highest quality materials to isolate your signal from interference to deliver the purist video signal available. Ordinary video cables, such as those that come with your video devices, sacrifice performance by using lower grade materials , including steel or low-purity copper conductors. This can result in signal loss, poor picture resolution and inaccuarate colours. The Purest Picture Improves clarity with superior-grade, 99.99%-purity copper conductors. Maintains signal integrity and 75-Ohm impedance using precision-formulated, polyethylene dielectric material. Isolates noise with 100%-coverage aluminium/Myler foil shield. Creates precise contact and incresed durabilty with corrosion-resistant, 24K gold connectors. Delivers maximum bandwidth with 75-Ohm coaxial construction. Provides maximum isolation from electromagnetic and radio frequency interference with double shielded construction. Connected to Panasonic TV 29" Flat (Tau) from a Pioneer DVD 466. The two movies of choice were Krull(quite old) and Kill Bill. Nice firm screw-on connections for the person who has sat/cable signals. As expected the performance of this cable versus component was far inferior. This cable versus a new shop bought AV cable was slightly better in clarity and depth but would only be noticable on good equipment. Around other equipment and the interference from such electronics I have noticed a slight improvement over shop or made up cable mainly due to the sheilding. I am a sound enthusiast, so visually I don't think I appreciate visual detail. Even a visual nut might not want to spend the extra for limited improvement, the audio cables do rate the expense though. |
