Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from the record-setting entertainment franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops II propels players into a near future, 21st Century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare. Features: • Combining incredible high-dynamic range graphics and sensational new gameplay, Black Ops II sets you off on secret operations as Frank Woods - the protagonist from the original Black Ops game. • The non-linear storyline will see you battling during a futuristic Cold War, as well as tackling flashbacks from historical missions and playing as various members of the Mason family. Every decision you make during this story will affect future consequences, giving you a different experience every time you play. • With new futuristic weapons, the chance to master a number of different vehicles and modes of transport, and a mysterious villain - known simply as Raul Menendez - Black Ops II is set to be the ultimate Call of Duty game. • Alongside the epic Campaign and branching story is the all-new Multiplayer mode. New maps, new game-styles and new perks make this the most engaging Multiplayer yet! • Zombies Mode also makes a comeback with a series of challenging maps and missions that enable you to fight off the dead in even more ways. |

Ok well where do I start here. Hardened Edition, Care Package Edition and regular Edition. Hardened has a steelbook, Care Package has a RC quadrotor RC chopper (bit gimmicky) and regular is regular. Track your online progress across this and a few other call of duty titles on COD Elite. This game has a great campaign mode. The voice actors are actual well known voices from TV and film Jason Beghe (Californication) Michael Keaton, (Batman) Michael Rooker, (Walking Dead) Benito Martinez (Shield), etc etc. The game play is smooth the animations are great the campaign can be beaten in around 7 hours. Multiplayer is smooth, fast, fluid with great graphics and animations. The lag, the camera angles the over powered pistols, shotguns and snipers ruin the experience. In the last 10 months I have been playing this game it has seen a drop in online players from around 350,000 at the start to 100,000 as of now. Everyone is well over this game. All of the online you tube community is just biding their time until Ghosts comes out. If you want to just run around and not try too hard you will love it. if you want to do well at the multiplayer side you will just get frustrated and angry. If you are playing this for the multiplayer experience and cannot wait for Ghosts then ok buy it, otherwise rent it beat the campaign and return it saving yourself $100. a lot of people don't touch the multiplayer aspect of a lot of games anyway. @slashman69 |

When we bought this, we decided to get the Hardened Edition. This is a little more expensive than the game on its own, as it comes with a couple of collectables, but we also found out recently that it was well worth the extra money. We spent about $20 more than the game on its own, now the hardened edition comes with the Nuketown map, which the game on its own, doesn't. This worked out to be a real money saver as Nuketown is a very popular map, and had we bought it on its own, we were told it would have cost us around $70 just for that! Story mode was really good this time around, the graphics were good and whilst it didn't seem to last any longer than the first game. This time though, it was good enough to warrant a better rating for the game overall. The multi player mode is well worth its money. With a wide range of maps, modes and weapons you won't be short of anything to do. You can also buy an add-on which now lets you play AS a zombie as well as trying to defeat zombies. Black Ops 2 was a much better game overall, and is one of my favourite shoot em up games. |
