this goes back a year or so... i found these guys in an out of the way spot on main street, on the eastern side of town. they looked a bit off-the-beaten-track but i thought they would be worth checking out because the range on display wasnt too bad. nothing great, but there was some variety, from 2-door sedans to small trucks. after wandering around the lot for over 15 minutes i finally went hunting for some staff and found the owner (apparently) sitting inside watching me. i convinced him to let me take a vehicle out for a testdrive, but told him i would be taking it for a vehicle checkup. he got really nervous, but since i was sitting behind the wheel, at the roadside, with the engine running, he couldnt really stop me. after an hour of driving it up and down hills, out to linton and back and over a bit of rougher terrain to test the handling, i got a shitty call on my cellphone from him telling me that he had rung around all the car testing places and i wasnt named on any of them, would i please return his stolen vehicle! theis really blew me away man, coz like i would steal the car, it was junk on wheels! i was also really insulted that he would think me so stupid as to try and steal a car after he had a photocopy of my drivers licence on file. man, he must be just plain dumb to think that. i returned his piece of crap car and walked out to a tirade of abuse from the owner. i guess all i can say is that if i ever want a car, i wont be going to this fellow. |

Anonymous I have also have a bad experience with this guy after looking at a car for around 20 minutes this included lifting the bonnet and boot etc, i had to go hunt him down and then convince him to let me test drive it. He came along for the test drive and being a Honda Vtec i wanted to see what it would do higher in the revs as we all know this is when the magic of a Vtec happens the minute i gota little above normal dirving RPM i was told very firmly to keep the revs down. The car was over priced and i felt that the owner of the yard wasn't interested in making a sale at all. I would never consider giving this guy any of my money. |
