I am new to Acrobat, other than the Acrobat readers that are freely distributed, so being able to dive into the full version and get to test-drive all the features is a real treat.

The installation process was a breeze, it took a few minutes only to fully instal Acrobat 7.0 professional, and a few minutes after that to create my first pdf file from a word document I had been writing at the time. That was a simple process - press the acrobat icon within word, and the pdf file was created quickly.
From there, it was a simple enough process to open the file in Acrobat 7.0, from there, I was able to edit, insert notes, play with stamps, backgrounds and watermarks and so much more.

Acrobat 7.0 is intuitively laid out for the total novice to start getting results, and contains plenty of tools for the professional user. The help menu is extensive and helpful and logically laid out. It is easy to find just about any topic needed. I have found things so intuitive that I never felt I really needed the help menu, however felt that I should spend some time looking at it so I could at least write about it. I suppose that many experienced users will not need to use the help menu much either, unless they are really stuff.
For previous users of the Acrobat range of products, will notice there is a helpful 'what's new in Acrobat 7.0' to get existing users reaquainted with the upgraded version.
I am sure in time, I will get to grips with everything acrobat has to offer, however at this stage I lack the skills to get the best from Acrobat 7.0, but that will not hold me back, only push me forward to learn it thoroughly.
