I had seen these in the supermarket and never touched them as thought they were a cheap knock off of another brand. Having had a bad experience with lollies in America and Australia I was concerned they were going to taste either too sour or to sweet and basically not be very nice. How wrong was I? I won a packet of Kiwi Party Mix and having no other lollies in the house hesitantly opened the packet. My mouth had an explosion straight away The Milk Bottle tasted fantastic so had to try one of the other suckie lollies and had the blue penguin and was blown away. I have not experienced any 'yucky' lolly they are all fantastic. The lollies are all nice and soft and all have great flavour.

The only problem is you can't just have one. I find I am always sneaking back to the fridge to grab another one. These are true value for money. The best part is the supermarkets are using having specials on them so grab a couple a bags a week now. Both of my girls love them and there is no fighting over any of the lollies as they are all equally as good. The packet is nice and easy to open, but, I have still not found a way of taking a lolly out of the packet with out it making some sort of noise so that the girls come running no matter what room they are in.

A really great New Zealand company to keep supporting. Well worth a try.

I saw this bag of lollies at my local supermarket last week. The bag was such a bright and striking green, it really stood out with all the other fun coloured bags of lollies on the stand. I saw that this was party mix and grabbed a bag as party mix is always my favourite kind of lolly. A good mixture of flavours and shapes.

When we got this home, it sat in the cupboard until today. When I opened the bag, I saw just how special this kiwi mix really is. There are little pavlovas with kiwifruit topping. These really did have a creamy eggy taste to them with the tartness of kiwifruit. There were silver ferns, korus and a huh grub! I got a lot of the gumboots, but none of the blue penguins which was a bit sad.

These would make great cupcake toppers, or for a kiwi themed birthday cake. They were definitely fun to eat and to share. They caused us to talk a lot about each shape as we came across it. I loved that they were real New Zealand icon things. I've shown a few friends the pack and they were excited about them too. They would be great to slip into a parcel for an x-pat. I would say Regina are on to a winner here!

Love, love, love Lollies in this house, i'm such a big kid when it comes to lollies and nothing quite beats the good old party mix. With a party mix there is something that everyone will like. I have always been pretty loyal to the Pascal party mix but was intrigued to try these and so glad I did.

The mix is pretty standard but unique at the same time, it has the good old milk bottles, and the fruit puffs but it is the New Zealand themed shaped lollies that are really cool. There are fruit jelly jandals and gumboots, and silver fern shaped spearmint leaves. I especially liked the little blue penguins which were a soft jelly sweet also.

The best thing about these lollies is that there is absolutely no black jelly beans what so ever yay. The only jelly beans in this mix are passion fruit flavored beans which are really really good. The only complaint I had was that the bag did not last anywhere long enough with three 'kids' in the house.
