Heat and Eat large rectangle set product reviews

This is a family-sized microwave set, modular in design yet compact enough to store in your fridge or freezer.

Heat 'N Eat containers are virtually unbreakable and can withstand extreme temperatures, making them suitable for the freezer, refrigerator and the microwave.

The Seal features a unique liquid-tight flexible venting valve. Simply pull the convenient tab to open before reheating food, to close, just push it down. The Seal also prevents splatters, keeping your microwave clean.

The generous textured handles on the base make it easy and safe to remove the container from the microwave, and the transparent material of the container allows you to view contents at a glance and monitor the reheating process.

Feet on the base and the Heat 'N Eat's rounded shape allow for maximum air circulation, assisting in even and efficient freezing, heating and cooling.

I recently went to a tupperware party and was really drawn to these containers. I make my sons food and freeze it ready for his dinner each night as he eats ahead of the rest of us at 4.30 ready for a 6pm bedtime. I have found heat and eat meals to be the most convenient as it saves me having to cook two completely seperate meals each night.

The demonstrator was doing the hard sale on these and talking about how you shouldn't be heating children's food in the likes of glad containers, I shrugged it off because the price was so expensive but after going home and thinking about it I decided to order a set. I am so glad I did as these are brilliant.

I can freeze his meals in these and then pop them straight in the microwave with an open vent and the food inside the container heats evenly everytime and doesn't dry out. I have also found that as they seal so tightly the food inside doesn't get freezer burn like it does with cheaper containers that aren't quite as air tight. I think this really was a good buy and has made food storage and heating so much easier.

Now these containers are awesome, they come in handy for so many different things. I have the whole set of these. What I love is when you have left over food you can pop it into these seal it with the lid and into the fridge it goes, this saves on my plates and bowls as I don't have many of them. Once you want to eat it you can just pull it out, pull the little tab up and into the microwave for heating, you then can eat right out of the container as it has something on the bottom that doesnt allow scratching.

I have popped these in the freezer before aswell but you need to let it defrost fully before opening the lid so you don't snap the lid, as these arent really designed for the freezer. They are also to take to work aswell to heat up a yummy leftover meal. They are strong and good, they are easy to wash and the best thing they all stack into each other for great storage saving, the lids can sit easy under the containers to store or on the side next to them.

I love that they are purple and fun, these are great for those that always have leftovers and end up throwing it out, my leftovers last a couple of days in these. Prefect for having around when you have a big dinner party, yes the price is a bit out there but they are well worth it.
