Ever since I can remember I have always had a passion for cartoons, whether it is a television show or a movie I would always pick cartoons over another genre. I didn't think my love of cartoons could get any greater, but since having children that is all I get to watch hehe.
When I saw a post saying there were new DVD titles available to review, I instantly checked to see if any of my children's favourite characters were there, to my pleasant surprise there were several DVDs which sounded entertaining. I requested 'Blaze and the Monster Machines : Dino Parade' as my boys are absolutely besotted with monster trucks, we even had a monster truck themed party at the end of September.

When the children saw 'Dino Parade' in our package, the sheer excitement on their faces was wonderful to see. I popped the DVD in the player, and while waiting for the main menu to come up I surveyed the DVD cover. Blaze and Zeg are smiling at the front and in the background there is a volcano erupting and a dinosaur too. There are 4 episodes of Blaze and also a bonus episode of Paw Patrol, the running time of the DVD is approximately 85 minutes.

I thoroughly enjoy Blaze and the Monster Machines nearly as much as my children, the catchy theme song combined with educational songs throughout each episode had us singing along. This show is full of vibrant colours, counting and maths, intriguing characters, exciting adventures, and while watching the kids get to learn about things like chain reactions. For days after initially watching the children kept singing the chain reaction song and talking about it.
My boys said their favourite episode was the 'Grand Prix' one because of the racing, whereas I enjoyed the adventure that ensued with 'Dinosaur Parade.'

I highly rate Blaze and the Monster Machines for anyone with young children, I particularly love the way that the children are learning while having fun. I think that children aged between 2 - 7 years old would be the targeted audience, we can't wait to see what adventures Blaze goes on next.
