I had tried and loved all of the previous flavours of Diet Snapple which I had tried, but I have to admit that I had put off requesting the Original Green Tea singles for some time as I was really unsure as to whether or not I would actually like the flavour, I'm not a tea drinker at all but I have loved all flavoured green teas which I have tried in the past, however I often hear people from work talking about green tea and the strong taste and smell it has which kind of put me off ever trying green tea as it is. After lot's of should I's and shouldn't I's I decided to try the original flavour so I could make my own mind up.

Like all other Diet Snapple varieties this pack contained 6 individual sachets, each one small enough and convenient enough to carry in your handbag for if you want a flavour hit in your drink rather than plain water. The contents are easy to pour into a drink bottle due to the slim design of the sachets, and are easily mixed into water with just a few shakes once you've put the lid back on! I noticed with this particular flavour that there was a bit of sediment floating around after a few shakes, however this quickly dissolved within a few minutes, as the instructions said it was.

The drink was a pale green colour, and I was happy upon my first sip to find that the flavour was not at all overpowering, but rather mild tasting with what tasted like a touch of sugar, it certainly was the weakest in flavour out of all the varieties I have tried, and while not my favourite in the range it is something I would happily drink in place of water if all that was available, to me it really didn't taste much like tea! My partner and my niece were also happy to sip on this which says it all as they are usually very fussy, so it really can't have tasted to bad.

Though this isn't a flavour I would buy again myself, I feel it would be perfect for those who have tried the other flavour varieties but found them to sweet, it is probably also a great drink alternative for green tea fans. I'm happy I tried this and will continue to enjoy my remaining 2 sachets.

I have only just started drinking herbal teas and usually have them hot but on a summers day it is not always desirable to have a hot drink. I cut out caffeine from my diet and cut down on my sugar intake as I am trying to get my body back into good health and I find caffeine really destroys my sleeping patterns. Green tea is not my favourite so I often opt for a fruit tea, chamomile, or red bush but having green tea in this form makes it a lot more desirable.

Having only experienced green tea as a hot drink I found it quite bitter and unappealing but in this cold tea variety it was very nice. I was at home when I tried my first glass and I did just make it in a glass and tried stirring it with a straw it did take a while to dissolve all the powder but I got there and let it sit for a few minutes. I found it very nice and easy to drink and the flavour was not like the bitter green tea taste I had experienced in the past.

I made my second mix in a bottle as suggested so I could give it a good shake which definitely helped it dissolve and brew a bit better I added some ice to my bottle to keep it cold and set off on the school run. It was good to have the convenience of having a cold tea that is very simple to make as the temptation to stop and buy soft drinks that I know will unsettle my stomach can sometimes be strong when I am out on a long drive so having these sachets is very convenient to be able to just buy a bottle of water.

This Diet Snapple Green Tea was the last Diet Snapple flavour that I have tried. I have really enjoyed the peach, lemonade and raspberry flavours but I wasn't quite sure I would like this one. I am not a tea fan, and certainly don't enjoy the flavour of plain green tea but seeing the product up for review I thought it is the perfect chance to try it and put myself out of my comfort zone again.

I love that these Diet Snapple drinks come in an easy to use, single serve tube. I can throw one into my work bag and take it to work, have it in my hand bag for when we end up visiting friends and I don't have to measure anything to mix it up. I do mix mine in a 750ml pump type bottle and find that this is strong enough. I think if I was to mix it in less water the flavour would be just too strong.

Upon opening the tube for the green tea Diet Snapple I tipped it in to the bottle. The first thing that caught my attention was that it didn't have a lot of power, in fact I looked back into the tube to make sure I had it all. Compared to the other flavours the powder was much lighter in colour which I thought was a bit odd - out of all of the flavours I would've thought that the green tea flavour would look the most like tea! I was a little concerned that maybe the tube I had opened wasn't full but left the bottle to sit for a couple of minutes so that the flavour could dissolve.

The water turned a very pale green colour and after a couple of minutes everything had dissolved. Upon trying it I discovered that there was plenty of flavour in there, despite the way the drink looked. There certainly was much more of a tea flavour to this drink than what was in any of the other flavours, and hence it is my least liked flavour and one I wouldn't buy again as I prefer the other flavours. There is definitely a sweetness to it, as stated by Snapple themselves this is to be expected in their products, but the bitter tea taste still shines through just a little bit too much for my liking.

Diet Snapple Green Tea was the last flavour I tried and I noticed how light it was compared to the other flavours. I had questioned myself if I had tipped the powder in or not or if have had been missed. The taste was there though even if it was a light shade of drink. It was really refreshing and nice and I enjoyed it with ice cold water.

I find these packets great and handy to use and are a great alternative to water, which I am aware of that I need to drink more water during the day. I find when I have a bottle mixed with the green tea diet Snapple that I can drink a whole bottle in one sitting. This is great especially before and after work outs. I work out almost daily and I need to drink more water to flush my system out and keep hydrated, so I have found using these packets are exactly what I need. It also helps that they are low in calorie intake.

I think for the price you pay for these it is worth it especially if you are like me and need to increase your water intake. For someone who craves something sweet from time to time then these also help to fix those cravings. This green tea flavour is the mildest from the lot I have tried and I liked the non over powering sweet taste. Sometimes just a little faint flavouring is all you need. I would recommend this flavour to people who do not have a strong sweet tooth as it is just a slight hint of green tea flavouring. They would be great also for when we head camping to have a packet on hand to mix into the water bottle to sip on during the day to keep hydrated while being outside in the sun all day.

Well I was not really sure what to expect when I requested this Diet Snapple sachet to review, I drink unflavoured green tea every day normally hot and brewed by tea leaves not from a dissolvable sachet, but my curiosity was peaked and I thought this was well worth trying out.

The box came with six sachets and was obviously made for and by the American market, referencing mixing the sachet with 16.9 fl ounces of water, well I had to Google that one into mls and quickly found 500mls, with that information I quickly filled a jug of water with that measure and filled the water into my drink bottle. The sachet was similar to a sugar sachet you would use at a local cafe, which was easily torn open and poured into my bottle, the granules dissolved very quickly and turned the water a light pale brown yellow which a likened similar to green tea.

I was half expecting an overly sugary tasting drink but thankfully I was pleasantly surprised, the drink was very crisp, refreshing and just really nice, and in that moment I decided this is my new summer drink which I expect to enjoy mixed with ice on my deck in the sun. I have already checked out their website and I see it is very easy to order online and I intend to do just that. So I would say, don't delay try it today, you will not be disappointed.

I really didn't know what to expect with this Green Tea Snapple. I saved this box until last for trying, because with the other three boxes I was shocked at how sweet they were. So I know green tea tends to be quite bitter. I don't mind the flavour and will sometimes have it for a change from coffee. However, I have seen green tea with other flavours added to change it up a bit.

Because the Snapple had so far been very sweet, I was not sure if the green tea flavour and the bitterness would come through or if there would be an overwhelming sweetness and not much green tea flavour. I made this up in a 500 ml bottle as per the instructions. I tried it and my first thought was that it was significantly less sweet compared to the others in the Snapple range. It is still sweet, but you can taste the Green Tea and the flavour is more about the green tea than the sweetness.

That said I still diluted it further and then I was able to drink it a lot quicker than the other flavours. The green tea sachets disappeared fast because I found them really refreshing. I think this would be a good introduction to green tea and certainly would surprise people who don't generally like green tea. This is one I would be likely to buy again.

With summer on the go and my tap water not being all that tasty, this product gives me a good option to help keep me hydrated. It would also be excellent for entertaining. I could see it easily adding to a fruit punch at Christmas, though not as easily as some of the more flavourful ones in the range. I have a stick in my handbag and some in my desk drawer too.

Looking at the ingredients list, the only words I really understand are "green tea" which appears twice as a green tea extract powder, and green tea powder. The rest of the ingredients sound incredibly chemical and artificial, but what am I really expecting here? I'm making at least 500mL of iced tea from 0.6 grams of powder. Looking at the nutritional information, as opposed to the ingredient list, I see there is no fat, sodium, carbs (includes sugar), or protein. No calories at all, despite providing 20% of your recommended daily intake of Vitamin C. So far that is nothing but positives.

I poured an 850mL glass of tap water (so room temperature rather than chilled water) and inserted a packet of the powder. The foil packets are surprisingly easy to tear open, and you can instantly smell that dull, grassy aroma that you get from green teas. The colour is very muted, and looks more like a cold brewed tea with just a slight greening of the water. The flavour, however, is anything but subtle. A very sweet flavour, that tastes like a green tea prepared with a teaspoon of sugar or honey, which is a very enjoyable drop.

I am not a fan of water, in fact I wanted to try this product so that I could avoid tasing that horrible flavour (or lack thereof) of tap water. With zero calories, and tasty flavour, this great value product will definitely be replacing my current juice concentrates and water drops, as I come into summer with hot teas no longer a good option.

I left this tea till last because I did not think I would like it (not being a tea fan) but was I ever surprised! Although it lacks the fruit flavour of the others I tried in the range, it has a herbal aftertaste which is nothing short of delicious. Because it is made from green tea only, it does not have the bitter effect that you get from black tea. It is naturally high in Vitamin C and has no added sugar so it has got to be good for you.

I was intrigued by the one-liners on each of the single serve packets. They are the sort of trivia that sometimes appears inside Christmas crackers or on Ripley's Believe It Or Not - essential information like the assertion that men get hiccups more frequently than women (do they? how does anyone know?), or the fact that a duck has three eyelids, or that bees are born fully grown. You get the picture - I am not going to list them all, although I would like to point out that there were no duplicates whatsoever in a collection of four full boxes, so that is pretty impressive!

I served the drink (premixed and chilled) to friends; we all had two small glasses, one containing just the plain drink and the second with blue borage flowers floating in the glass. I took a photo both times, but the second photo (with the borage) was too dark so I could not add it to the review. The verdict was unanimous on both counts; the plain version was voted very nice, but they did not think the borage added anything to the second version other than making it look pretty!

Having tried the drink on its own, I tried it with some other combinations to see whether it would be any different. I mixed it with soda water instead of plain water; personally I did not like it as much like that, but a friend who tried it on another occasion said he thought the soda water was nicer than the bottled water I had served it with when he was around earlier.

But the drink found its perfect partner in an unlikely combination. I had a new bottle of Pete's Natural Lemon Chilli, and just for fun I thought I would mix them together. That was sheer dynamite! I started small, mixing one part of the Lemon Chilli to three parts Original Green Tea, and I could not stop drinking it since it was so good. I think those proportions were about right if you were going to drink a large amount, but obviously it would vary from individual to individual. Personally, I think I have just found my new favourite summer drink combination. Borage optional!
