Sunday morning arrives, and we decide to go out for brunch. I had heard good things about La Patio, so suggested we try it out.

La Patio has indoor and outdoor dining areas. We chose to sit outside. We were given our menus, and drinks orders were taken. Two orange and pineapple juices. These were brought out to us minutes later, and our meal order was taken. The waiter was very polite, well spoken and dressed in formal attire. We sat back and waited for our meals to arrive.

After about fifteen minutes, our waiter came and advised us there would be a delay on our meals, as they were also hosting a function at the time. It was very good of La Patio to advise us of this - I do not mind waiting, as long as we are advised there will be a wait. We ordered another round of juices. Another fifteen minutes later the waiter aplogises for the delay, and advises us the round of juices we just ordered would be complimentary. Amazing!

Another fifteen minutes passes and our meals are bought out, along with a message - 'The Chef sends his deepest apologies for the delay'. I have to say even though we waited 45 minutes for our meals, you really cannot fault the service of La Patio. I have never experienced such a place which customer satisfaction was so high on the priority list.

Our meals were very enjoyable. Very well presented, and tasted great. Also very reasonably priced. I have to say I cannot wait to go back. I really enjoyed my visit to La Patio.

I think it just goes to show staff service and attitude can really make the difference between a good experience and a GREAT experience.
