My daughter was lucky enough to receive the playskool busy elephant from my parents as a first christmas toy. I love it because I absolutely love elephants and the playskool brand is a very well known reputable brand.

I love the bright colours of the toy and the base colour of the elephant itself - blue. I'm pretty sure they also come in white as well. This toy it great for teaching as children need to use fine motor skills to play with this toy. It teaches with sound - the ear crinkles, and the dial on the foot clicks, it also has a squeaker and of course the ball on the nose makes a noise. It teaches direction with the dial and with turning the ball on the nose. And it also teaches them to pop the star in and out of the tummy pouch.

This is a great toy for babies lying on the floor to look at/play with and also great for toddlers as they can o more of the activities on the elephant.

Pretty awesome value for money as it has such a range of activities and suits ages 6 months till probably beyond 3 years.

This was one of the very first toys we bought our son when he was born. When he was having floor time he liked to just lie and gaze at the elephant and the elephant was one of the first things to see a little smile appear. This elephant has grown with him and he still plays with his elephant and occasionally will take it to bed for cuddles.

It is a really basic toy, with a soft toy with a variety of different sensory activities. It has a crinkly ear, and a squeaky foot. It has a ball to spin on the end of it's trunk and a dial to turn on its foot and also a little teething toy to chew on or tuck inside the elephants pocket. My son at the very first touchy feely stage would love to sit and crinkle the elephants ear he found the sound fascinating.

It is made for the youngest of children's so everything is sewed and attatched very well there is no chance they can pull small parts of or choke on anything so you can be confident to let them suck on it. I let my son take it to bed with him as I know it is safe so he can play with it in bed without me worrying. It can be quite cute to stand and listen to him talking to the elephant while he is drifting off to sleep, it will be sad when he grows out of his elephant toy.
