My children eat these oats every morning for breakfast - they love it! I love that you can buy the different flavours all in one box, it makes mixing it up each day so much easier and the fact that they only take 90 seconds to make is AMAZING especially as we have twin 2 year old boys!! Their favourite is the Apple, Sultana and Cinnamon flavour. Without a doubt it is the one that gets eaten first and with the original flavour we usually slice up some banana's and sprinkle with just a little bit of brown sugar!! I personally like the Berry Zing flavour, it's so delish and with a few extra berries sprinkled on top it just helps give it something else!

Price wise, I think this product is good value for money! It has every thing going for it - especially in winter! It's a fast easy breakfast that warms the belly and helps you start the day right! You know the kids are going to daycare with something filling in them. And although we do use it for breakfast, it's also great for when the kids are sick and full of the flu as they usually go off their food but we find this is just something that they will happily slurp on and goes down easily! Great for keeping their energy up to get back to full health!

We will continue to buy this product for years to come!

Nothing beats a bowl of hot, milky porridge on a cold winter's morning. Since having a 2 year old in the house we go through an awful lot of porridge as it seems to be her top pick of breakfast foods. I have to be honest here and say that I have never attempted to make my own porridge from scratch, and to tell you the truth I don't think I ever will as these individual sachets of Harraways Oat Singles are just so quick and easy to make, without all the guess work.

Within 90 seconds you have a bowl of hot, tasty oats good to go, and with so many flavours there's got to be a favourite for everyone in the family. These can be made up with either milk and water and they turn out fine either way. The flavoured oats come in so many yummy flavours such as Sunrise Caramel (my pick of the bunch) and apple, cinnamon and sultana which Miss 2 just loves. The plain ones are also very yummy as they allow you to be creative in adding your own favourite flavours. Some that I have enjoyed include sliced banana and maple syrup, cinnamon, brown sugar and stewed apple, banana and chocolate chips and rhubarb and strudel topping.

These are such a great breakfast idea that is now a staple in our household, we have also used them at lunchtime. Being in single serve packages makes them a great thing to send along to daycare or breakfast.

Growing up in the early 80s, as a kid in winter, my mum always made hot porridge or oats from scratch. Served topped with brown sugar or golden syrup and banana. As an adult, porridge and oats making was not something I was very good at. The few times I did try, the end result was either burnt, under cooked, very very lumpy, too salty, or completely taste-less. Like making custard, there are just some things some of us can not do, no matter how hard we try.

With this in mind, I am so glad I gave Harraways Oat singles a chance lol They are so easy to make. As an added bonus you can choose from plain oats to flavoured oats and know that they will be almost perfect everytime. It is as simple as adding some milk and popping in the microwave for a mere 90 seconds. The convenience, ease of use, and time to make also means they are ideal for school mornings and the kids are mors than capable of making them themselves.

The flavours are great, and the price is fantastic. Some cereals have such crazy price tags attached (and are then jam packed full of sugar), so the price on these is brilliant. Plus I can make it without it being a disaster. No mess, no fuss. We like to top ours with a little extra milk and some fruit to make a yummy tasty filling breakfast. My twelve year old could live on Harraways Oat singles if given the chance.

I don't have time most mornings to cook porridge from scratch so this seemed like a good alternative. Taste was great and it was so easy to prepare but then I discovered that it is cheaper and easier to have cereal on the week days and normal rolled oats on the weekends and I can change the flavour using dried fruits or museli so I would have a lot more choice than buying one box of limited flavours.

I don't have anything against the product but when you are on a tight budget it probably isn't as appealing as a lower cost alternative or rolled oats you can buy in larger bags and can add various other toppings to and get a much wider variety.

This product would appeal to people who can't make porridge from the raw ingredients eg a bag of rolled or milk oats, or who don't have the time.

I had always bought Uncle Toby's oat singles but a few months back I seen these on special and decided to give them a go. Even at their regular price they are still a lot cheaper than Uncle Toby's and they seem to regularly go on special too so I stock up when I can. My son has porridge for breakfast nearly everyday so I like to get a variety of flavours so he doesn't get bored of the same thing day in and day out.

The flavours in these variety packs are amazing, my son's favourite is the Sunrise Caramel which is nice and sweet and has a really nice caramel flavour. He also loves the apple, cinnamon, and sultana which has little bits of dehydrated apple through it. I like my porridge plain with just a little sprinkle of brown sugar and with one of the variety packs there is some sachets of plain porridge so that works really well for us.

I like the convenience of the oat singles as they only take 90 seconds in the microwave and the portions are already measured out so it takes away all the work for you. I do like how the Uncle Toby's oats have the measurements on the packet to pour the milk into aswell, which Harraways Oat Singles don't have so maybe that could be something they add on at some stage.

At the moment there is a promotion to collect free colour changing spoons which has got my fussy 11 year old in to eating porridge as she wants to use the colour change spoon. We now have one of each colour as we go through so much porridge that we have collected a few spoons. All in all I love this porridge and there are some great flavours that my kids love.
