My son loves cars, trucks, and tractors and basically anything with wheels at the moment. He has begun showing an interest in all sorts of toy vehicles and will get very excited if he sees his Dad on the ride on mower. We have been trying to teach him the right words because at the moment everything with wheels is a car. We got given this book all about tractors which is cool to introduce him to what a tractor is and what they are used for.

It is a non fiction book but it has the character of Tractor Ted telling you all about tractors and showing you all the different things they are used for. The only one that my son recognised was the small one that looks like a ride on mower and he was very quick to point and say "car". Living in the country he is going to see a lot of different types of tractors around so I thought it was a really neat book to have at home.

At the end of the book it has a page about colours too identifying what colour each tractor is and then a page where you count the number of wheels on the tractor which I thought was really cool to have a bit of an activity for the children to do. There are other books in the Tractor Ted series so we may have to have a look what other ones they have as they are pretty cool books.
