This was another interesting set from Soaprageous, and one that promised quite a lot of fun before it even got near the bath!

We started off with the extruder bit, squirting out soap-worms, star-bars and the like. All the benefits of playdough, and with the added advantage that they actually had a practical use after the playtime was over.

After half an hour, we moved on to the moulds. A yellow bear, a blue dog (in tribute to one of his favourite kids-show characters), and then it was off to the bath. Out with the soap crayons again, and playtime was all on.

Overall, not too bad at all, quite a lot of fun, plenty of hands-on time, and something he could actually play with afterwards. Much goodness indeed! The only gripe... the tubs of soapdough are TINY! Three tubs barely filled two moulds, leaving a few dregs at the end to save for next time, after I buy some refill tubs. But, the fun factor was extremely high, and the equipment was very sturdy and durable, meaning a long lifespan. Perhaps, if they released bigger tubs, those with more than one child can afford to get into this more. Perhaps next year our little ones will be giving us hand-moulded soaps for Christmas. :)
